“I feel frustrated. As aid workers we are not in a position to effectively deliver aid to affected people in Yemen. In addition to witnessing the airstrikes, I get depressed seeing the economic situation deteriorate as a result of blocking aid getting into Yemen. In Hudaydah I saw long queues for fuel although there was no more fuel left. My friends had to leave their cars behind today and travel by public transportation, which has become difficult. The situation is horrifying, people are already struggling and they will go through additional hardship if the lack of flights, ships and fuel increases and the cholera situation worsens,” said Peter, WASH Advisor.
